The Eickernmühle belongs to the oldest mills in Westphalia (Germany).
Since the end of the 1980s the company processes cereals from certified organic farming and became the first mill of the BIOLAND association in North Rhine-Westphalia.
As a typical artisanal mill it preferably obtains its cereals locally and it is the leading foundation member of the marketing initiative Lippequalität.

Already at the beginning of the 17th century, Kramerbräu Agro & Food GmbH (Pfaffenhofen, Bavaria) was founded as farm, malt house and brewery. Malting and brewing have been stopped by now, but the agricultural factory was converted to organic production in 1989. Today Kramerbräu Agro & Food GmbH is a well-known specialist of processing and cleaning of certified organic baking and oil seed such as sunflower kernels and linseed.
In the middle of the 1980s Josef Stöger sen. founded the Stöger GmbH in the North of Vienna (Austria) in order to produce safflower oil exclusively from organic farming. By means of modern cleaning techniques the company developed quickly to an approved processor of baking and oil seed, spices and specific cereal species. Today the Stöger GmbH is one of the leading companies for cleaning and processing of the so-called Styrian pumpkin seeds.
